INTRODUCTION: Young children cannot effectively adapt their behaviors to vehicles at varied distances and speeds, which is a critical cause of road accidents. However, the impact of this crucial ability on children's street-crossing decision-making and the age at which they acquire it remain unclear. METHOD: This study examined the crossing decision-making behavior of children at 6, 8, and 11 years of age in facing 51 different videotaped traffic scenarios with varying vehicle distances and speeds. Sixty Chinese elementary school students, with 20 children evenly distributed into each of the three age groups (6 years, 8 years, and 11 years old), participated in a simulated street-crossing task using video projections. Hierarchical logistic regression models were used to analyze how age moderated the effects of vehicular motion factors (vehicle-pedestrian distance, vehicle speed) on children's crossing safety, including dangerous crossing and crossing decision-making. RESULTS: The results showed that when either vehicle-pedestrian distance decreased or vehicle speed increased all age groups tended to cross less frequently but probability of dangerous crossing increased. Compared to 8-year-old and 11-year-old children, 6-year-old children showed a less pronounced tendency toward both of these crossing decision-making behaviors, and had more dangerous crossing outcomes. CONCLUSIONS: These findings suggest that inadequate adaptation to vehicle-pedestrian distance and vehicle speed may partly contribute to the inferior safety of street-crossing behavior in 6-year-olds compared to 8-year-olds. No significant differences were observed between 8- and 11-year-old children, suggesting the turning point for this ability might occur between 6 and 8 years of age. PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS: Preventive measures aimed to reduce crossing risks for children should consider children's developmental stages.

RESUMO

Acute lung injury (ALI) is a respiratory failure disease associated with high mortality rates in patients. The primary pathological damage is attributed to the excessive release of pro-inflammatory mediators in pulmonary tissue. However, specific therapy for ALI has not been developed. In this study, a series of novel ferulic acid-parthenolide (FA-PTL) and ferulic acid-micheliolide (FA-MCL) hybrid derivatives were designed, synthesized, and evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activities in vitro. Compounds 2, 4, and 6 showed pronounced anti-inflammatory activity against LPS-induced expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines in vitro. Importantly, compound 6 displayed good water solubility, and treatment of mice with compound 6 (10 mg/kg) significantly prevented weight loss and ameliorated inflammatory cell infiltration and edema in lung tissue, as well as improving the alveolar structure. These results suggest that compound 6 (((1aR,7aS,8R,10aS,10bS,E)-8-((dimethylamino)methyl)-1a-methyl-9-oxo-1a,2,3,6,7,7a,8,9,10a,10b-decahydrooxireno[2',3':9,10]cyclodeca[1,2-b]furan-5-yl)methyl (E)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)acrylate 2-hydroxypropane-1,2,3-tricarboxylate) might be considered as a lead compound for further evaluation as a potential anti-ALI agent.

Asparagus bean (Vigna unguiculata ssp. sesquipedialis), a subspecies of V. unguiculata, is a vital legume crop widely cultivated in Asia for its tender pods consumed as vegetables. However, the existing asparagus bean assemblies still contain numerous gaps and unanchored sequences, which presents challenges to functional genomics research. Here, we present an improved reference genome sequence of an elite asparagus bean variety, Fengchan 6, achieved through the integration of nanopore ultra-long reads, PacBio high-fidelity reads, and Hi-C technology. The improved assembly is 521.3 Mb in length and demonstrates several enhancements, including a higher N50 length (46.4 Mb), an anchor ratio of 99.8%, and the presence of only one gap. Furthermore, we successfully assembled 14 telomeres and all 11 centromeres, including four telomere-to-telomere chromosomes. Remarkably, the centromeric regions cover a total length of 38.1 Mb, providing valuable insights into the complex architecture of centromeres. Among the 30 594 predicted protein-coding genes, we identified 2356 genes that are tandemly duplicated in segmental duplication regions. These findings have implications for defence responses and may contribute to evolutionary processes. By utilizing the reference genome, we were able to effectively identify the presence of the gene VuMYB114, which regulates the accumulation of anthocyanins, thereby controlling the purple coloration of the pods. This discovery holds significant implications for understanding the underlying mechanisms of color determination and the breeding process. Overall, the highly improved reference genome serves as crucial resource and lays a solid foundation for asparagus bean genomic studies and genetic improvement efforts.

Leaves are the primary photosynthetic organs, providing essential substances for tree growth. It is important to obtain an anatomical understanding and regulatory network analysis of leaf development. Here, we studied leaf development in Populus Nanlin895 along a development gradient from the newly emerged leaf from the shoot apex to the sixth leaf (L1 to L6) using anatomical observations and RNA-seq analysis. It indicated that mesophyll cells possess obvious vascular, palisade, and spongy tissue with distinct intercellular spaces after L3. Additionally, vacuoles fuse while epidermal cells expand to form pavement cells. RNA-seq analysis indicated that genes highly expressed in L1 and L2 were related to cell division and differentiation, while those highly expressed in L3 were enriched in photosynthesis. Therefore, we selected L1 and L3 to integrate ATAC-seq and RNA-seq and identified 735 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) with changes in chromatin accessibility regions within their promoters, of which 87 were transcription factors (TFs), such as ABI3VP1, AP-EREBP, MYB, NAC, and GRF. Motif enrichment analysis revealed potential regulatory functions for the DEGs through upstream TFs including TCP, bZIP, HD-ZIP, Dof, BBR-BPC, and MYB. Overall, our research provides a potential molecular foundation for regulatory network exploration in leaf development during photosynthesis establishment.

Understanding consistencies and discrepancies in characterizing diversity and quantity of phytoplankton is essential for better modeling ecosystem change. In this study, eukaryotic phytoplankton in the Pearl River Estuary, South China Sea were investigated using nuclear 18S rRNA and plastid 16S or 23S rRNA genes and pigment analysis. It was found that 18S abundance poorly explained the variations in total chlorophyll a (Chl-a). However, the ratios of log-transformed 18S abundance to Chl-a in the major phytoplankton groups were generally environment dependent, suggesting that the ratio has potential as an indicator of the physiological state of phytoplankton. The richness of 18S-based operational taxonomic units was positively correlated with the richness of 16S-based amplicon sequence variants of the whole phytoplankton community, but insignificant or weak for individual phytoplankton groups. Overall, the 18S based, rather than the 16S based, community structure had a greater similarity to pigment-based estimations. Relative to the pigment data, the proportion of haptophytes in the 18S dataset, and diatoms and cryptophytes in the 16S dataset, were underestimated. This study highlights that 18S metabarcoding tends to reflect biomass-based community organization of eukaryotic phytoplankton. Because there were lower copy numbers of plastid 16S than 18S per genome, metabarcoding of 16S probably approximates cell abundance-based community organization. Changes in biomass organization of the pigment-based community were sensitive to environmental changes. Taken together, multiple methodologies are recommended to be applied to more accurately profile the diversity and community composition of phytoplankton in natural ecosystems. Neuraminidase is suggested as an important component for developing a universal influenza vaccine. Targeted induction of neuraminidase-specific broadly protective antibodies by vaccinations is challenging. To overcome this, we rationally select the highly conserved peptides from the consensus amino acid sequence of the globular head domains of neuraminidase. Inspired by the B cell receptor evolution process, a reliable sequential immunization regimen is designed to result in immuno-focusing by steering bulk immune responses to a selected region where broadly protective B lymphocyte epitopes reside. After priming neuraminidase protein-specific antibody responses in C57BL/6 or BALB/c inbred mice strains by immunization or pre-infection, boost immunizations with certain neuraminidase-derived peptide-keyhole limpet hemocyanin conjugates significantly strengthened serum neuraminidase inhibition activities and cross-protections. Overall, this study provides proof of concept for a peptide-based sequential immunization strategy for achieving targeted induction of cross-protective antibody response, which provides references for designing universal vaccines against other highly variable pathogens.

BACKGROUND: Migrant domestic workers are vulnerable to physical and mental health problems given the many challenges they experience while working abroad. Using network analysis, this study examined the structure of depression, cardiometabolic health indicators (BMI, waist-hip ratio (WHR), blood pressure, and heart rate), bone mass, and perceived health status in this population. The network model allowed for an examination of central symptoms or symptoms with the most direct connections with other symptoms; bridge symptoms, or symptoms that link two or more communities; and edges, or relationships among symptoms. METHOD: Cross-sectional data were gathered from 1375 Filipino domestic workers in Macao (SAR), China. Data from a subsample of 510 participants who met a cutoff indicating depression were analyzed. Anthropometric measurements and surveys were used to collect data, which was analyzed using R statistical software. RESULTS: Results showed four community clusters: three communities consisted of at least two depression symptoms each and the fourth community included physical health indicators. Strong edges were formed between BMI-bone mass, psychomotor-concentration, BMI-WHR, and sad mood-anhedonia. The node with the highest expected influence was BMI. There were three bridges: worthlessness, psychomotor difficulties, and concentration difficulties. CONCLUSION: The link between depression, cardiometabolic indicators, bone mass, and poor perceived health reinforces the need to address multimorbidity within migrant populations. Health promotion interventions that address mental and physical health may improve the health of this population.

Ciliates usually with big cell sizes, complex morphological structures, and diverse life cycles, are good model organisms for studying cell proliferation regulation of eukaryotes. Up to date, the molecular regulation mechanisms for the vegetative cell cycle and encystment of these ciliates are poorly understood. Here, transcriptomes of Apodileptus cf. visscheri, which has an asexual vegetative cell cycle and is apt to encyst when environmental conditions become unfavorable, were sequenced to enrich our related knowledge. In this study, three replicates were sequenced for each of four cell stages, including initial period of growth, morphogenesis, cell division, and resting cyst. The significant transcription differences, involving cell cycle, biosynthesis, and energy metabolism pathways, were revealed between the resting cyst and vegetative cell cycle. Further investigations showed that the cell cycle pathway was enriched during morphogenesis stage and cell division stage. Compared to the initial period of growth stage, the differentially expressed genes involved in cellular components and molecular function were significantly enriched during cell division stage, while cellular components and biological processes were significantly enriched during morphogenesis stage. These provide novel insights into a comprehensive understanding at the molecular level of the survival and adaptive mechanism of unicellular eukaryotes.

BACKGROUND AND AIM: Chuanxiong Renshen decoction (CRD) is a traditional Chinese medicine compound used to treat Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, the effects and active ingredients of CRD and its mechanism have not been clarified. We aimed to determine the neuroprotective effects of CRD in a triple-transgenic mouse model of AD (3 × Tg-AD) and investigate the possible active ingredients and their mechanisms. METHODS: Morris water maze (MWM) tests were used to determine the protective effect of CRD on learning and memory ability. Afterward, we used brain tissue staining, immunofluorescent staining and western blotting to detect the neuroprotective effects of CRD. Ultraperformance liquid-chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) was applied to determine the ingredients of CRD, and the potential AD targets were obtained from DisGeNET and the GeneCards database. The protein‒protein interaction (PPI) network was built with the additional use of STRING 11.0. Metascape was used in the pathway enrichment analysis. Discovery Studio 2016 (DS) software was used to analyze the binding ability of CRD and AD-related genes. Finally, we verified the regulatory effect of CRD on the predicted core targets EGFR and CASP3 by western blotting. RESULTS: Our study indicated that CRD can significantly improve learning and memory, reduce the expression of Aß and protect neurons. A total of 95 ingredients were identified in the CRD. Then, 25 ingredients were identified in serum, and 5 ingredients were identified in the brain tissue homogenate. PPI network analysis identified CASP3, EGFR, APP, CNR1, HIF1A, PTGS2 and MTOR as hub targets. KEGG and GO analyses revealed that the TNF signaling pathway and MAPK signaling pathway were enriched in multiple targets. The results of molecular docking proved that the binding of the ingredients with potential key targets was excellent. The western blotting results showed that CRD could significantly reduce the expression of CASP3 and EGFR in the hippocampus of 3 × Tg-AD mice. Combined with literature analysis, we assumed the neuroprotective effect of CRD on AD may occur through regulation of the MAPK signaling pathway. CONCLUSION: CRD significantly alleviated injury in 3 × Tg-AD mice. The possible active ingredients are ferulic acid, rutin, ginsenoside Rg1 and panaxydol. The therapeutic effect of CRD on AD is achieved through the downregulation of CASP3 and EGFR. The neuroprotective effect of CRD on AD may occur through regulation of the MAPK signaling pathway.

Seagrass form high productive ecosystems in coastal environments. However, the effects of these coastal plants on the structure and function of the belowground eukaryotic microbiome remain elusive. In this study, we characterized the community of microbial eukaryotes (microeukaryotes) in both vegetated and unvegetated sediments using 18S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and quantitative PCR. Analysis of sequencing data showed that the eelgrass (Zostera marina) colonization decreased the alpha diversity indices of benthic microeukaryotes. Apicomplexa represented an average of 83% of reads across all samples, with a higher proportion at the vegetated sites. The taxonomic community structure was significantly different between these two types of sediments, for which the concentration of NH 4 + in sediment porewater and salinity could account. Phylogenetic analyses of long 18S rRNA genes (around 1,030 bp) indicated these apicomplexan parasites are closely related to gregarine Lecudina polymorpha. Determination of 18S rRNA gene abundances provided evidence that the eelgrass markedly promoted the biomass of the gregarine and all microeukaryotes in the seagrass-colonized sediments and confirmed that the gregarine was hosted by a polychaete species. Significantly higher gene abundances of heterotrophs and mixotrophs were found at the vegetated sites, which could be explained by the finer sediments and short supply of dissolved inorganic nitrogen, respectively. The pigmented protists were more abundant in 18S rRNA gene copies at the lower and higher pH levels than at the intermediate. Nevertheless, the fractions of heterotrophs and phototrophs in the community were significantly related to porewater N:P ratio. These results indicate that seagrass colonization significantly induces an increase in overall biomass and a decrease in diversity of benthic microeukaryotes, making them more heterotrophic. This study also highlights that the hotspot of eukaryotic parasites could be linked with the high productivity of a natural ecosystem.

Background: Uterine cervical neoplasms is widely concerned due to its high incidence rate. Early diagnosis is extremely important for prognosis. The purpose of this article is evaluating the efficacy of Raman spectroscopy in the diagnosis of suspected uterine cervical neoplasms. Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), and Web of science up to September 1, 2021. By analyzing the true positive (TP), false positive (FP), true negative (TN) and false negative (FN) of six included study, we evaluated the pooled and grouping sensitivity, specificity, positive, and negative likelihood ratios (LR), and diagnostic odds ratio (DOR), with 95% confidence intervals (CI), based on random effects models. The overall diagnostic accuracy of Raman spectrum was evaluated by SROC curve analysis and AUC. Results: After screening with inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of six study were included in the study. The pooled sensitivity and specificity was 0.98 (95% Cl, 0.93-0.99) and 0.95 (95% Cl, 0.89-0.98). The total PLR and NLR were 21.05 (95% CI, 8.23-53.86) and 0.03 (95% CI, 0.01-0.07), respectively. And the AUC of the SROC curve which show the overall diagnostic accuracy was 0.99 (0.98-1.00). Conclusion: Through analysis, we confirmed the role of Raman spectroscopy (RS) in the diagnosis of suspected uterine cervical tumors. Taking 286 cities above the prefecture level in China as the research object and the research period from 2003 to 2019, through the two-way fixed effect model, this paper empirically analyzes the impact of the city level on environmental collaborative governance. The threshold regression model is used to reveal the nonlinear relationship between urban levels and environmental collaborative governance and to analyze the phase characteristics of different urban levels for environmental collaborative governance. The results show that: (1) The city level has a significant role in promoting collaborative environmental governance. (2) The regression results of the three major sections show that the urban level promotion in the eastern region has the strongest promoting effect on the coordinated environmental governance, and the western region is the weakest. (3) The impact of the city level on collaborative environmental governance is nonlinear. When the city scale reaches a certain critical point, its impact on the collaborative environmental governance tends to intensify.

To determine the risk range of remaining coal in the goaf of the higher slice on the seventh mining and fifth face of Lingquan Mine, the beam tube monitoring system was adopted to supervise the temperature and gas content changes in the goaf during the normal mining period of the working face. As per the principle of dividing spontaneous combustion "three zones" (SCTZ), numerical simulation of the distribution of SCTZ in the goaf of the work face was performed. The O2 content and index gas in the goaf were measured and analyzed, and combined with the in-situ measurement outcomes, the distribution of SCTZ in the goaf was determined through the FLUENT numerical modeling program. The outcomes show that the distribution pattern of SCTZ in the goaf of fully mechanized mining face is: the heat dissipation zone is 0-41 m, the oxidation zone is 41-97 m, the suffocation zone is more than 97 m away from the work face, and the increment of temperature is 0.7/°C. Based on the judgement result of SCTZ, the minimum recovery rate of work face is above 3.7 m/d. The use of new polymer materials validly solves the problem of excessive CO in the return air corner of the goaf and prevents self-ignition accidents in the goaf.

We construct a compact model to mimic the membrane voltage response to the concentration of acetylcholine ([ACh]) which is mediated by the stochastic gating of acetylcholine (ACh) receptors. The patterns of the voltage depolarization against [ACh] as well as the accompanying voltage noises are presented. The mechanism of the voltage fluctuation that caused by the stochastic gating of receptors is explained. We consider that our results explain the frequently observed "end-plate (potential) noise" in physiology and electromyographic literature. These results, together with the requirements of evolution pressure on the motor units, explain reasonably the anatomical structure of the neuromuscular junction.

To realize the scientific judgment of spontaneous combustion risk in the coal mine, the spontaneous combustion influence factors were analyzed from the three aspects of coal spontaneous combustion tendency, air leakage, and oxygen supply, heat storage and heat dissipation. And the basis for the evaluation of t spontaneous combustion grade was constructed. Combination ordered weighted averaging (COWA) calculation was introduced to optimizes G1 subjective weighting, and a COWA modified G1 combined weighting cloud model was proposed to identify the spontaneous combustion risk in the coal mine. Finally, the rationality of the model was verified with actual cases. The research results show that the spontaneous combustion risk level in the Lingquan coal mine is relatively safe, which is consistent with the actual situation. And the spontaneous combustion tendency of coal is the leading factor affecting spontaneous combustion risk.

OBJECTIVE: Sensor-augmented pump (SAP) therapy reportedly improves glycemic control and quality of life. However, there is limited information on changes in awareness of hypoglycemia and quality of life (QOL) after starting SAP therapy in Japanese patients with type 1 diabetes. The aim of this study was to evaluate glycemic control, awareness of hypoglycemia, and QOL after initiation of SAP therapy in these patients. METHODS: The study included 20 patients with type 1 diabetes who started SAP therapy. HbA1c levels, values derived from continuous glucose monitoring [including percentages of time in target range (70-180 mg/dL), time below range (< 70 mg/dL), and time above range (> 180 mg/dL)], the Diabetes Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire score, and the Clarke score were compared between baseline and after 3 and 6 months of SAP therapy. RESULTS: There was a significant decrease in HbA1c at 3 and 6 months after starting on the SAP (p < 0.0001). There was also a significant decrease in time above range (> 180 mg/dL) at the two time points (p = 0.0069 and p = 0.0042, respectively). There was no significant change in time below range (< 70 mg/dL). There was a significant reduction in the Clarke score (p = 0.0347 and p = 0.0003, respectively) and a significant increase in the treatment satisfaction score (both p < 0.0001). There was no significant change in any of the three MOS 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey v2 component summary scores. CONCLUSION: SAP therapy was associated with improvement of glycemic control, mainly by reducing hyperglycemia, and patients' satisfaction with treatment.

During an investigation of parasitic ciliates in northern China, two Trichodina species, T. acuta Lom, 1970 and T. nigra Lom, 1960, were isolated from the freshwater fish Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758. The morphology of each species was investigated based on dry silver nitrate-stained specimens. In addition, the molecular phylogeny of each was analyzed based on small subunit ribosomal DNA (SSU rDNA) sequence data. Trichodina acuta can be distinguished from its congeners by the undefined periphery of the central circle, the distinct gap between the rays and the central circle, and the distinctly sickle-shaped blades. Trichodina nigra is a cosmopolitan ciliate and is characterized by its densely linked denticles, broad, rounded spatula-shaped blades, robust central parts, and well developed rays. Phylogenetic analyses revealed that T. acuta and T. nigra nest within different clades, supporting the assertion that the GC content of SSU rDNA sequences could reflect evolutionary relationships among Trichodina species.

Neddylation, an important type of post-translational modification, has been implicated in innate and adapted immunity. But the role of neddylation in innate immune response against RNA viruses remains elusive. Here we report that neddylation promotes RNA virus-induced type I IFN production, especially IFN-α. More importantly, myeloid deficiency of UBA3 or NEDD8 renders mice less resistant to RNA virus infection. Neddylation is essential for RNA virus-triggered activation of Ifna gene promoters. Further exploration has revealed that mammalian IRF7undergoes neddylation, which is enhanced after RNA virus infection. Even though neddylation blockade does not hinder RNA virus-triggered IRF7 expression, IRF7 mutant defective in neddylation exhibits reduced ability to activate Ifna gene promoters. Neddylation blockade impedes RNA virus-induced IRF7 nuclear translocation without hindering its phosphorylation and dimerization with IRF3. By contrast, IRF7 mutant defective in neddylation shows enhanced dimerization with IRF5, an Ifna repressor when interacting with IRF7. In conclusion, our data demonstrate that myeloid neddylation contributes to host anti-viral innate immunity through targeting IRF7 and promoting its transcriptional activity.

The receptor for activated C kinase 1 (RACK1) adaptor protein has been implicated in viral infection. However, whether RACK1 promotes in vivo viral infection in mammals remains unknown. Moreover, it remains elusive how RACK1 is engaged in antiviral innate immune signaling. In this study, we report that myeloid RACK1 deficiency does not affect the development and survival of myeloid cells under resting conditions but renders mice less susceptible to viral infection. RACK1-deficient macrophages produce more IFN-α and IFN-ß in response to both RNA and DNA virus infection. In line with this, RACK1 suppresses transcriptional activation of type 1 IFN gene promoters in response to virus infection. Analysis of virus-mediated signaling indicates that RACK1 inhibits the phosphorylation of IRF3/7. Indeed, RACK1 interacts with IRF3/7, which is enhanced after virus infection. Further exploration indicates that virus infection triggers AMPK activation, which in turn phosphorylates RACK1 at Thr50 RACK1 phosphorylation at Thr50 enhances its interaction with IRF3/7 and thereby limits IRF3/7 phosphorylation. Thus, our results confirm that myeloid RACK1 promotes in vivo viral infection and provide insight into the control of type 1 IFN production in response to virus infection.

Echinococcosis is a serious zoonotic parasitic disease transmitted from canines to humans and livestock. Periodic deworming is recommended by the WHO/OIE as a highly effective measure against echinococcosis. However, manual deworming involves significant challenges, particularly in remote areas with scarce resources. The insufficient awareness delivering praziquantel (PZQ) baits for dogs leads to low compliance rate. The aim of this study was therefore to develop a novel smart collar for dogs to address these challenges. We developed a smart Internet of Things (IoT)-based deworming collar which can deliver PZQ baits for dogs automatically, regularly, quantitatively with predominant characteristics of being waterproof, anti-collision, cold-proof and long life battery. Its performance was tested in two remote locations on the Tibetan Plateau. A cross-sectional survey was conducted to evaluate the compliance of the dog owners. Further, a randomized controlled study was performed to evaluate the difference between smart-collar deworming and manual deworming. The collar's effectiveness was further assessed on the basis of Generalized Estimation Equations (GEE). The testing and evaluation was done for 10 smart deworming collars in factory laboratory, 18 collars attached for 18 dogs in Seni district, Tibet Autonomous Region, China, and 523 collars attached for 523 dogs in Hezuo city, Gansu province, China. The anti-collision, waterproof, and coldproof proportion of the smart collars were 100.0%, 99.5%, and 100.0%, respectively. When compared to manual deworming, the dogs' risk of infection with Echinococcus on smart-collar deworming is down to 0.182 times (95% CI: 0.049, 0.684) in Seni district and 0.355 (95%CI: 0.178, 0.706) in Hezuo city, the smart collar has a significant protective effect. The owners' overall compliance rate to attach the smart collars for their dogs was 89%. The smart deworming collar could effectively reduce the dogs' risk of infection with Echinococcus in dogs, significantly increase the deworming frequency and coverage and rapidly remove worm biomass in dogs. Thus, it may be a promising alternative to manual deworming, particularly in remote areas on the Tibetan Plateau.
